On the afternoon of March 10, the 14th Baoshan District Private Economy Roundtable & Joint Conference on Private Economic Development was held under the theme “Service Chains Empower Industries, Innovation Drives Transformation”. Li Chenhao, Secretary of the District Party Committee, attended and delivered a speech; Shen Weimin, Member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and Director of the United Front Work Department, presided over the meeting; Wang Nai, Member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and Deputy District Chief, was present. Secretary Li Chenhao pointed out in his speech that private enterprises should stay confident and seize favorable opportunities for growth. They need to fully recognize and leverage existing favorable conditions, maintain steady development momentum, boost confidence, and translate regional development opportunities into strong internal growth drivers for their businesses.
Li Chenhao emphasized that private enterprises must strengthen internal capabilities and blaze new trails. They should deepen innovation-driven development, break free from path dependence, ramp up R&D investment, and extend innovative practices to every service scenario. Enterprises shall attach importance to brand building, adopt long-term brand strategies, take an active part in formulating and applying industrial standards, and tell compelling corporate stories. To achieve integrated industrial development, they need to deeply embed themselves into industrial chains, explore new space and create new value by supporting digital and green transformation of manufacturing industries, expand service coverage, and allocate resources and explore markets on a broader scale.
