Dimming System Solutions
There are various disadvantages of using alternating current in
engineering lighting applications, such as large AC line loss, easy to leakage
and electric shock accidents. The advantages of HVDC power supply are
highlighted, as the DC bus is isolated from the ground, which significantly
improves the safety of the system. In addition, DC transmission losses are
small, generating reactive power, while it saves cables and reduces
installation costs.
In terms of lighting control, the method of using power lines to transmit broadband carrier signals eliminates the dimming light in traditional dimming control applications, significantly saves material costs and reduces wiring difficulty in projects.
The HVDC power supply module is used to power the entire system; the broadband carrier communication module is used for lighting system control.
